Two important core values of Christ Church are to be "Biblically anchored" and to live in "intentional community." Our primary way of living out these values is through home based community groups. Community groups consist of around 10-12 people meeting weekly and focusing on growing in their relationship to Jesus through the Bible and through community.
Beginning mid-January Christ Church Community groups will begin journeying through the Gospel of Matthew, the first book of the New Testament. Why Matthew? Because Matthew is a handbook for us as disciples, as we seek to embody Jesus’ presence in our world. When Jesus called to His disciples, He called them to be in community with Him and with one another. Our vision for Christ Church Community Groups is to be focused on a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, shaped by the words of Scripture, watching over one another in love, and serving together. There is no more important relationship than one with Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. There are no more important words than the inspired words of the Bible.
There is no greater love than loving as Christ loves.
Community groups will begin meeting the week of January 12 continuing through April. If you have any questions or need more information about community groups, email Pastor Steve at .
