Christ’s heart is clearly seen when we are reaching beyond ourselves and serving others. It’s why, at Christ Church, one of our core values is to “Live a Life of Servanthood,” so that all might come to know the love of Christ through our love for others. During the months April through May, Christ Church has designated 14 Days of Service, where Community Groups, families, and individuals are invited to serve in our community by signing up for one of the projects below. Or, you may want to choose and organize a different outreach – something your group cares deeply about. Furniture Friends
Saturday, May 17 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | 1312 W. Sunchase, Ct. #1, Fayetteville
Furniture Friends (furniturefriends.co) is a local non-profit that provides furniture to International Students, many of whom arrive with nothing more than personal items and are literally sleeping on the floor. Volunteers will meet at Furniture Friends warehouse and help deliver furniture to students in their apartments and have a chance to connect with them. You do not have to have a truck.
