We need your help. As part of our ongoing process of improving communications, we would like to get as many people in our congregation enrolled in receiving text notifications as possible. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), which is a federal regulation, requires the church to have approval in advance of sending text messages out to you. In order to enroll, you simply need to text the word "YES" (no italics and all CAPS) to 87447. Please note that this will only work if we already have your cell phone number in our database. If you are uncertain as to whether we have your cell number, please contact Caroline Lonon at to check for you. If you are sure we do not have your phone number, an easy way to add your information to our system is to subscribe to our weekly email. The form can be found at the bottom of homepage of our website.
Regarding text notifications, please know that we do plan to use this tool judiciously and will only send out churchwide text messages when there is something of an urgent time sensitive nature or specifically to people in church groups with an important message designed only for their group (i.e. choir, parents of sixth graders, or the hospitality team). We hope you will opt in, but please know that you can always opt out by texting the word "STOP" back to any message from the church.
